Randall Pearce - Managing Director
Dr. Angela Yates – Senior Associate
Angela Yates has a rigorous academic background and extensive experience working in both the public and private sectors. Her key interest is in applying a multi-disciplinary framework to examine issues, using a combination of economic, political, social and environmental perspectives.
In London, Angela worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, specialising in compliance with financial reporting requirements. Her clients included central and local government, private companies, charities and NGOs.
After moving to Australia permanently in 2001, she was employed by the University of Sydney to co-ordinate research for the “What Makes a Corporate Champion?” project.
Dr. Yates has a broad-based education including a BA from Oxford University in combined social science and natural science. She was then awarded a PhD from the Political Economy Research Centre at the University of Sheffield.
Samantha Heron - Associate
Samantha Heron is an experienced strategy planner and qualitative researcher. Before moving into the area of consulting she worked for three of Australia’s leading advertising/research agencies; DDB, George Patterson and Sweeney Research.
Sam's most recent consulting role involved devising the strategy for the repositioning and rebranding of Australia's oldest and largest charity, the now newly named Australian Diabetes Council. She worked closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, and led the implementation of the rebrand during Diabetes Awareness Week 2010.
She has moderated more than 200 consumer groups and talked to more than 1500 people from all walks of life across Australia. She holds an honours degree in Psychology.
Sam’s experience spans designing, commissioning, conducting and analysing qualitative and quantitative market research across a range of industries.
Her passion lies in the not for profit and human services sector. She has volunteered for the Starlight Foundation on Starlight Day, supervised school students for the Red Cross Door Knock Appeal and volunteered at Father Riley’s Youth Off the Street, Echo Neighbourhood Centre and for three months in 2009 at Casa Hogar/Home for Children in Puerto Escondia, Mexico.
